Reporting Schedule & Store Posting Cycles
- 2-Month Delay: Streaming platforms report revenue on a 60-day delay. For instance, streams generated in January are reported and posted to your account balance in March.
- Weekend Posting Cycle: TuneCore processes incoming DSP reports every weekend rather than once at the end of the month.
- iTunes/Apple Music: Typically posts on the first weekend of the month.
- Spotify: Typically posts on the last weekend of the month.
- Other Stores (Amazon, YouTube, Deezer): Post periodically throughout intermediate weekends as statements arrive.
Troubleshooting & Pro-Tips
- Inactive Sales Months: If a specific release had zero stream or sales activity in a given store for a month, no line item or report will be generated for that period.
- Worldwide Country Filter: When filtering on the dashboard, the “World Wide” option applies specifically to Meta sales. To inspect all global earnings across standard DSPs, ensure all individual countries are selected in the dropdown.
- YouTube & Content ID Consolidation: TuneCore consolidates YouTube Content ID and YouTube Music revenue under the unified “YouTube” store tab.
